Achieving circular economy principles, steel has a unique characteristic as it can be reused and recycled repeatedly without losing its qualities as a building material.

Our steel has always been produced with a strong focus on sustainability, containing around 60% recycled content. Frameclad is once again spearheading the charge to take sustainability to another level with the launch of ECO-LSF  Produced from 100% recycled content using Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) technology, powered by renewable sources – this milestone marks a major step in our commitment to low-carbon construction and the future of responsible building practices.

Offering the best strength to weight ratio of all construction materials, our light steel frame systems are often used for buildings where additional structural strength is essential, but a lightweight solution is required. Lighter structures not only reduce material consumption but also concrete in the ground with foundation loads and sizes reduced by over 70% relative to blockwork construction.
