Red Bracket

Wembley Point

Goods Corner, Edinburgh

This prestigious project sits just off the North Circular in the shadow of Wembley.  It towers high above all around it and places an imposing mark on the sky line.  This is a full refurbishment of a reinforced concrete structure.  All existing external walls were removed and replaced – along with infill floor sections – to the whole of the building.

Frameclad employed a number of specialist techniques to deal with the inconsistency of the existing build – As Built information was sometimes difficult to come by and slightly inaccurate – however, the build went tremendously well and both specialist installer partner Buildtherm and the client RGB are delighted with the results.

Infill extensions to the concrete floors were a particular challenge.

There are plans to introduce further structural amendments to the penthouse – Frameclad and the project developers are looking at options to make this a reality.
